World Champion!!
July 22nd, 2008 Posted in ConnieJuly 12, 2008 Cape Town, RSA Taylor kicked off the Junior World Track Championships with a win in the 3000 meter individual pursuit over Aussie Rohan Dennis by 3.7 seconds and his first track title. Due to inclement weather (winter in RSA) and the fact that the track is open to the outside, it was very cold inside which did not lend themselves to fast times and made the second ride feel tougher than usual. Under heavy pressure to win and entering as the logical favorite, Taylor did not disappoint!! Thanks for reading!
